Downton Abbey

I don't often wish that I had lived during the early 1900's and 19 "teens" but after watching two seasons of Downton Abbey...I wish for one thing. The wardrobe. The beautiful gowns that Mary wears are breathtaking.

Intricate details. Rich fabrics. Lace. Bead work. Sequins. Cuts that flatter and fits that accentuate without revealing too much. I don't wish that I had been a woman during the time period, but oh my goodness can we bring some of that beautiful fashion back?!
