Philosophy Holiday Kisses Kit

My sweet boyfriend bought me Philosophy's Holiday Kisses lip gloss collection from Sephora to cheer me up since I have been under the weather since before ringing in the new year.

I love philosophy for their quality products and ingredients. Also, I love their packaging- it's sweet, thoughtful and often times inspiring. Their lip shines are lovely because the tubes are large, the tints are sheer and understated, and the sparkle and shine lasts a very long time. Also, the scents and flavors are spot on and taste just like the real thing.

This holiday kisses kit is currently on Sephora's online sale and is listed for $20. Each one of these lip shines usually sells for $10 so it's like you're getting two shines for free. Or four shines for five dollars a piece.

The scents (red velvet cake, frosted cookie, bubbly and candy cane) smell delicious and are fun to wear even when the holiday season is over. Candy cane is clear shine with no sparkles. Bubbly is light pink with shimmer and smells like pink champagne. Some people have complained that it smells and tastes a little like shampoo but I think it's really lovely and very close in taste to actual pink champagne. Red velvet cake and frosted cookie both smell like their namesake and taste wonderful too. The red velvet cake leaves a nice sheer color that looks lovely dressed up or down. I love this set and would definitely recommend it to anyone looking to add some lip shines to their collection that smell and taste incredible.
