Gold Standard

I. Detest. Glitter. Glitter calls back to mind the mistakes of my fledgling attempts at developing a makeup style during the 90's. The stuff of nightmares.
This nailpolish made me forget the glitter errors of my past and reinvented glitter as a staple of my twenty-something years.
This topcoat "As Good as Gold" by Sephora for OPI, is amazing. It's so beautiful and the glitter is multisized (small, medium and large) lending to a gorgeous mixed media effect.
To achieve a large amount of glitter on the nail, it will take about three different coats.
This is the only drawback of the polish because having to use so many coats will make the polish not last as long. However, it's up to you how much glitter you want concentrated on your nails.
All in all, this is a great glitter polish. It is not opaque so if you want to pair it with a color underneath, that is a great option. The gold tone of the glitter is luxe, not tacky which in my opinion is essential when choosing a gold anything.
