Trend: Soft Romance

I'm really not even sure if this is a trend per se. In my world...soft peaches and creams are never a trend; they're a staple. But here is a recent photo of me in a vintage ensemble styled by me.

Skirt: Handmade Vintage (Design Archives: Greensboro, N.C.)
Camisole: LC by Lauren Conrad
Sweater: Hollister Co. (I wore this sweater in high school! I really wanted to list it as vintage...but, 2003 doesn't really read as vintage in my book.)
Shoes: Leopard Print sandal (Forever 21)
Necklace: Body Central
Purse: Vintage (another lovely purse from my lovely, lovely Mother!)

I love this outfit so much. it's simple but I felt elegant and casual enough to do just about anything. The full skirt is great for my pear figure. The defined waist is always a plus. I made sure to tuck the camisole into the skirt so that the waist would be clearly defined and it would make the look neat and well put together. Simple and romantic...that was what I got from this outfit. One of my favorites. When in need of some fashion inspiration--Go Vintage!
