Last Call.

Everyone has a story of a time where they found a great deal online, neglected to immediately buy it, and then was left with the intense heartbreak of discovering that it was no longer in stock.
Enter: The Dudette Flat by Steve Madden
After a recent trip to New York City for New Years, I perused the Steve Madden sale, and although the prices were too expensive for my tastes, I realized just how many different pairs of shoes they sell that I would love to one day add to my shoe collection.
Upon arriving home, I scanned their sale and clearances sections of their website and found this very adorable shoe that had been priced down to $24.99. I hesitated upon purchasing it just long enough to see that the color I wanted, black, was sold out. Randomly this morning, (two weeks after the heartbreaking affair) I wistfully searched discount websites such as Zappos and 6pm hoping to find a wayward pair. No such luck.

So then, I returned to the scene of the crime. Steve Madden's website. And what did I see...none other than my shoes! In black. In my size!

I tell this story for a few reasons. One, to celebrate my incredible success and dare I say, shoe miracle. Two, to encourage anyone reading this not to dilly-dally with deciding whether or not to procure an affordable online sale item. And three, to advise you to check back at the website even after the item is sold out, in the event that someone returns the item. You never know, miracles can happen!
